Kelsey is an alumna of Canisius College and University at Buffalo School of Law. She went to law school with the goal of working in immigration and has been in the field since her first year of law school.
She's a firm believer that you should understand what your lawyer is saying.
She doesn't use confusing legal terms, wear a fancy suit, and is a big fan of questions.
Kelsey first stepped foot in Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in 2018, and still spends too much time at the facility in Batavia.
Her policy on only handling cases based in Buffalo/ Batavia, New York has changed since January 2025.
