IMMIGRATION COURT - CASE INFORMATION
EOIR Automatic Case Lookup
To determine the date, time, place, and type of your next appearance in front of the court, enter your Alien Number (A Number) and country of nationality here: https://acis.eoir.justice.gov/en/
If you are in the Immigration Court system, you should find yourself directed to a page which has essential information about your next hearing.
See an example here. Important things to note include:
1) The type of upcoming hearing
(Master Hearing or Individual
Hearing;)
2) Where the hearing will take
place. Many hearings are now
internet-based, meaning via
video call. If this is the case,
the link will be provided for
the Immigration Judge's
"Webex" virtual courtroom;
3) If your case has been decided,
or is on appeal; and
4) Which Court will hear your case
and contact information for that
Court.
This information is important to know before meeting with any attorney for a consultation to discuss potential legal representation. It makes things much more efficient, and ensures both you and your attorney have total clarity of what steps come next in your legal process.
Please remember to note - if you do not appear for a hearing in front of the court, you will be ordered removed from the United States. It is incredibly important that you appear as instructed to all hearings.
