LEGAL CONSULTATIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS CURRENTLY IN ICE CUSTODY

If you are seeking legal representation for a loved one currently detained in ICE Custody, please schedule a detained consultation at the link below.

Please ensure to provide your email address and contact information. You will be contacted before the consultation via email with an explanation of detained consultation procedures, expectations, and general information regarding ICE custody for detained individuals' loved ones.

See below for a general explanation of my detained consultations and what to expect during a detained consultation.

Detained Consultation Fee

My fee for a detained consultation without an interpreter, or if you are able to provide an interpreter that will be available by phone during our consultation is $400.00.

My fee for a detained consultation with a private interpreter hired by me is $550.00.

See below for more information on interpreters.

The consultation fee must be paid before the consultation takes place. Consultations can be scheduled and paid for via my scheduling page, found here, and at the "Schedule a Consultation" button below.

Important Note

Please ask your loved one to bring ALL paperwork provided since they were taken into ICE Custody with them to our consultation so that I can review all documents to ensure we are aware of all potential factors.

Interpreters

If your loved one does not speak English, we will need an interpreter. If you are able to provide an interpreter who can be available by phone at the time of the consultation, I am able to call out by phone from the facility when meeting for the consultation. This can be a family member, loved one, or any community member who is able to interpret between your loved one’s best language and English.

I highly encourage all potential clients to use a trusted family member or loved one as a phone interpreter when possible to provide an extra sense of security and avoid pricey private interpreter fees.

If you are providing an interpreter, I will need that person’s name and phone number before the consultation. This will be discussed at further length after a consultation is scheduled.

Consultation Procedure/ What Happens During a Legal Consultation

Once a consultation is scheduled, I will meet with your loved one in person. A significant amount of the consultation is spent on information gathering, so that all possible pathways for “relief,” meaning any and all legal arguments for your loved one to remain in the United States, can be identified.
